Call for Talent: ART AS ENERGY

30 January 2013

RFQ slide

We see public art as an opportunity to apply new perspective to our on-the-ground knowledge, moving people to act in society’s best interest and become more energy-conscious consumers. Center for Energy and Environment is developing a public art project, Art as Energy,  and we need YOUR ideas! Artists/teams are invited to consider project concepts ranging from $5,000 – $50,000. Finalists selected to participate in the workshop will be paid $500 each to develop project proposals.

We are looking for local artist to propose community art projects that will engage viewers, raise awareness of the use and consequences of energy consumption and inspire new choices.

Application deadline: March 15, 2013.
