Funding for Environmental Education Programs!
Do you have a great idea or opportunity that educates and engages citizens to become more involved in helping the environment? If so, you could receive some funding from Green Partner Environmental Education Program to make your idea a reality.
Hennepin County provides funding and support to organizations to implement projects that empower residents to reduce waste, increase recycling, reduce toxicity, conserve energy and protect water quality.
Green Partners Environmental Education program provides three different levels of funding to organizations: Seed (free transportation and supplies), Root (up to $8,000) and Branch (up to $15,000). Organizations can apply for seed funding at any time. Root and branch funding has an application deadline of November 16th. For further questions refer to the program factsheet
