Thank You and Farewell!
Dear Readers and Energy Challenge Fans:
I’ve had such a blast coordinating the Minnesota Energy Challenge over the past five years – and writing over 590 posts for this blog! So it’s bittersweet to announce that I have accepted a new position and my last day at the Energy Challenge will be next Friday, July 20th. While I am excited about my next challenge, it is hard to say goodbye.
From farmer’s markets to church basements, elementary schools to large corporations, Duluth to Rochester and everywhere in between, I’ve met thousands of Minnesotans who are taking action to reduce energy waste and teach others about the power of energy efficiency. Thank you for inspiring me and demonstrating the very real and powerful impact of people taking action! With more than 28,000 members across the state, the Energy Challenge has grown beyond our dreams to become a model for similar programs across America.
It’s been an honor to work with so many dedicated volunteers and passionate communities. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm for energy efficiency and sustainability – it’s been a real hoot!
Luckily, this blog and the Energy Challenge aren’t slowing down anytime soon – starting now, formerly-Intern Emma is stepping up to become the full-time coordinator of the Energy Challenge and the administrator of this blog.
Thanks again – stay tuned for more great tips on reducing energy waste and improving your family’s impact in Minnesota!
