CERT Seed Grants Available for Community-Based Clean Energy Projects!

25 May 2012

Have a great idea for a community project involving energy efficiency and/or renewable energy that you want to get off the ground this next year? Well you are in luck!  Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERT) of Minnesota are announcing a new round of Seed Grants for community based, clean energy projects. Each CERT area team is looking for great project ideas (Central, Metro, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest, and West Central). Click here for a map of team locations.

CERT Seed Grants only fund technical assistance (AKA labor costs only!)  needed for your project. Not sure if your project would qualify or not? Look up past CERT funded projects, or attend an introductory conference call to understand more about how the Seed Grants work.

This is a great opportunity to take advantage of! Proposals are due by July 2nd, so there is plenty of time to apply. Make sure to share this with your friends and family who may be interested. The main CERT Seed Grant  page has all the details of the program.
