Big Game, Big Power

An estimated 158.5 million TVs will be on and humming this weekend for Super Bowl XLV – ever wonder how much energy that will take?  GE put together a very nifty infographic about the energy demand for the football event of the season.  It turns out that the electricity consumed by Americans to power TVs for the big game could also power all the homes in Green Bay, Dallas and Pittsburgh for ten straight hours!
