Green v. Green

23 April 2010

I was recently introduced to the Green v. Green blog by energy Tweeter @EnergyinBalance and I am captivated! It’s a great look at how sustainability gets played out at home:

Husband and wife, Tony and Megan, debate the benefits of “saving green” versus “being green.” Tony has made a New Year’s resolution to be more frugal in 2010 while Megan is determined to have a healthier planet and family.

I often inadvertantly step into marital disputes by recommending good habits or equipment that spouses have squabbled about, particularly when it comes to compact fluorescent light bulbs or thermostat settings, so it’s nice to see a family sharing their own conversations about greening and saving money in a humorous way.  After all, being green in a family is about making compromisse, and both Tony and Megan have had to give in to the other over certain issues.  Check it out!
