Just in time for cold and flu season!

30 January 2009

I’ve been fighting a vicious and pernicious chest cold for the past week, so this article from Grist.org comes just in time – a review of recycled facial tissue! I refer to all “facial tissue” as “kleenex,” (just like my southern relatives refer to all pop as “Coke,”) but the truth is, not all kleenex is created equal.  In fact, pulp and paper manufacturing is the third greatest emitter of carbon dioxide emissions in North America.  If you’re not hip on carrying a cloth handkerchief (which took me about two days to get used to), here’s a great run down of your eco-options for a runny nose!
