Oil Executives Agree on Carbon Emission Limits

15 January 2009

I admit, I was as taken aback as the writers of one of my favorite green blogs, Treehugger, to read that not only do nearly half of chief financial officers of 100 U.S. oil and gas exploration and production companies think that we have hit peak oil, but that 63% believe that carbon dioxide emissions should be limited in some way, most preferring that states rathern than the federal government set their own guidelines.  Even oil executives are recognizing that emissions should be limited!  Luckily, we know how we individuals can make a difference…right?  Take the Minnesota Energy Challenge and reduce your own home’s emissions while saving money at the same time!
